Expected Answer

  • There is left lower lobe collapse, volume loss in the left hemithorax and compensatory hyperexpansion of the LUL. There is downward and medial deviation of the left hilum. There are no pulmonary or bony metastases. The appearances are highly suggestive of an endobronchial lesion in the LLL bronchus. Staging CT of the thorax and upper abdomen advised together with MDT discussion at the Lung Cancer meeting.
