74-year-old man. No history.
- 1Curvilinear rim-like calcification overlying the cardiac apex on plain film.
- 2Background ICD pacemaker inserted.
- 3CT confirms severe thinning and aneurysmal ballooning of the apical left ventricle.
- 4Densley calcified myocardium and an adjacent crescentic mural thrombus are present.
