Clinical Presentation
HIV-positive. Presents with malaise and dry cough for a week.
- 1Widespread perihilar reticular opacities on chest XR with normal heart size and no effusions.
- 2HRCT demonstrates widespread diffuse ground-glass opacification mapping a 'geographic' or 'mosaic' pattern due to lobular sparing.
- 3Focal areas of consolidation and fine interlobular septal thickening (early crazy-paving) are noted.
